Annual RIVTA Symposium

Registration for the 2025 Symposium is CLOSED!

 Hospital Managers: If you would like a discount code set up for your hospital, please reach out to us at info@rivta.org. This will allow anyone who uses the code to register themselves for the conference for free, allow them to select the lectures they are interested in and share their food and beverage preferences with RIVTA. After registration closes, you will be provided with a list of those who registered using your code, and an invoice.

Registration for the 2025 RIVTA Symposium is now open. Who and what can you expect from the Symposium this year?

  • Tabitha Kucera CCBC, RVT, KPA-CTP, VTS (Behavior) as a Keynote Speaker as part of a 6-hour Behavior Track. This is a new format from previous years, see below for timeline. 
  • Cailin Heinz, VMD, MS, DACVIM (Nutrition) for 4 hours of vital pet nutrition! 
  • Susan Hamin, Counselor, LMHC for a 2-hour participant-directed Veterinary Wellness Discussion. Limited to 15 people, first come, first served! No additional charges. 3 SEATS LEFT!
  • Shalom Lima, CVT, VTS (ECC, SAIM) lecturing on Learning from Medical Errors. Newly increased to seat 40 people. 

  • Kimberly Titus, CVT, CCFP lecturing on Compassion Fatigue and Burnout. Newly increased to seat 40 people. 
  • Plus, a 3-station wet lab called The Basics: IV Catheters, Bandaging, and CPR lead by Cat Holly CVT, Kerry Walsh CVT and Nick Raimondi MPH, CVT. Perfect your techniques in this hands-on lab. Limited to 12 people per session. Additional charges apply.  
  • Lunch and 2 snacks included- new section in registration for lunch and snack dietary restrictions and requestions!
  • Water bottle filling station with flavored water additives. Bring your own bottle!
